Tis the Season...For Cold Weather

Churches are exposed to freezing temperatures this time of year. Pipes that freeze and burst can cause extensive and costly damage to your church. If you have exposed water pipes in the ceiling or crawl space, we ask that you wrap or insulate them as soon as possible. You should also maintain a minimum temperature of 60 degrees in all buildings when not in use. Please assign someone in your congregation or church staff to closely monitor weather conditions and be responsible for making sure the heat is set to a minimum of 60 degrees during times of subfreezing temperatures. Just a few simple steps of prevention can make a BIG difference!
